Emma Cohen, LPC, ADHD-CCSP

Waitlisting clients.

Hi, I’m Emma, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I specialize in supporting adults diagnosed with ADHD. As someone with ADHD myself, I truly understand the unique challenges of navigating the neurotypical world, and I’m passionate about helping others with ADHD find strategies that work for them. I also offer ADHD evaluations for both teens and adults.

I take a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring my methods to each individual’s needs and goals. I use strength-based strategies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help you tap into your strengths and overcome obstacles. My focus is always on what works best for you, and I believe in empowering you to live your best life.

In addition to ADHD, I’m trained in trauma-informed care and utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporate aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help individuals process trauma that may be holding them back. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe exploring your strengths and finding ways to move forward.

I know that healing is a deeply personal journey, and I’m committed to finding the approach that best suits you. I’ve worked with adults facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, navigating difficult life transitions, and more. I’m currently accepting new clients, and I would love to work with you to create a plan that helps you thrive. Let’s work together to discover what’s possible for you!
