Thiel Mental Health Services, LLC is excited to announce that we are now offering evaluations for ADHD and Executive Functioning! All Evaluations are done in person at the Southington office in a structured testing environment that has minimal distractions. Each evaluation will be completed with a written analysis of the results by Erika Thiel, LPC, ADHD-CCSP or Emma Cohen, LPC, ADHD-CCSP and will be sent to the client and any authorized professional the client would like their results sent to. The report is written within 48 hours of the test itself.
If a client is presenting with any COVID-19/Flu/RSV symptoms, they should reschedule the evaluation.
The cost of evaluations are $300. Insurances are not accepted for evaluations at this time. All payments are expected to be made the same day of the evaluation. All payments must be paid through the client portal and can be paid with a credit or debit card, or HSA/FSA.
What to expect:
• Testing time may take 2 to 4 hours. Each person should be prepared to be available for that period.
• Clients should have basic knowledge of computer use (how to use a mouse, how to read words on a screen, etc.).
• If clients have hearing aids, then they should bring hearing aid and wear it as they normally would.
• Prior to the appointment, Clients will be expected to fill out a questionnaire that will be reviewed by Erika Thiel with the client.
• Payments are expected to be me made prior to the evaluation beginning.
• No show or late cancellations will be billed the full amount.
• All rooms and testing areas are disinfected between clients.
• If a client is presenting with any COVID-19 or illness symptoms, they should reschedule the evaluation.
• Masks are not mandatory at this time
Finally, a solution to helping Adults who could not afford neuropsychological evaluations and have struggled at the “what if” question. Clients will never be told they must leave their current therapeutic journey and be seen at Thiel Mental Health Services, LLC in order to have an evaluation completed. However, it is strongly encouraged that a client who is receiving an evaluation is already engaged in some form of mental health treatment.
